Job Description in Detail :
Position Overview:
The Regional Operations Manager China – Disney English will be
responsible for overseeing the operations of all Disney English
Private Language Institutes (PLI) within their region. This
includes training and quality auditing of center operations staff,
inventory and stock management, and collecting feedback for
system/process modification and enhancements from PLI staff to
prioritize and communicate to the National level.
General Duties and Responsibilities:
CRM System
??Proactively assist in identifying user and/or process issue
modifications to improve center and regional efficiency and
communicating these modifications to National level.
??Assist in User Acceptance Testing for new and modified systems
features, where appropriate.
??Act as Regional Super User for all Sales, Marketing, Academic
and Operations systems.
Stock, Inventory and Site Management
??Ownership of maintenance requests pipeline from PLIs and
coordinate resolution with regional site team.
??Working with National Operations to manage Demand
Planning/Ordering of inventory for regional warehouses and centers
based on projections of current/future PLI locations.
??Indentifying areas to cut costs by changing regional suppliers,
items or re-negotiating regional prices.
??Maintaining regional service agreements for service providers.
??Ownership of Critical Task list for opening a new PLI, new site
Punch list and Operational Hand-over from the Site team.
Training, Auditing and Process/Procedure Compliance
??Working with Human Resources to deliver the on-boarding program
and training for all Center Managers, Front Desk Associates and
Clubhouse Administrators. Provide feedback on and suggestions to
improve on-boarding/training materials.
??Responsible for regional distribution, training and ongoing
updates of all Operational Operating and Training Guides.
??On-going delivery of operational quality audit process across
regional PLIs to ensure all PLI center processes and environments
meet Disney Safety and quality standards.
??Provide on-going support to Center Managers, including hosting a
weekly operations meeting.
Working Relationships
? Internal – Disney English, Disney English US team, and General
Management
? External – Outsourced development vendors and systems providers
and contract developers, suppliers.

Requirements : Job Qualifications:
Education: College/University degree in relevant field
Experience:
? Preferred minimum 5 years relevant operational experience
? Fluency in written and spoken English
? Fluency in written and spoken Standard Mandarin
? Closely related experience in another Fortune 500 (Fortune100
highly desired) company or a US parent matrix organization
preferred
? Experience delivering training programs
? Experience in start-up business an asset
? Ability to work well in a fast moving and cross-functional and
geographically distributed organization.
? Experience working with a budget.
Knowledge:
? Good knowledge of operational systems and a strong understanding
of technology is a must
? Experience in utilizing a CRM system.
