岗位职责

The Solution Engineer is responsible for the following:
Qualify opportunities and identify customer business objectives
Conduct detailed discovery of customer needs and demonstrate how Meridian’s software solutions address their needs
Analyzing & documenting client business requirements.
Designing & validating solutions to the client through functional and technical proofs-of-concept
Developing specifications and estimates for the delivery of proposed solutions.
Setting clear expectations of the client and internal Meridian delivery team regarding proposed solution
Leading cross-functional teams for designing and delivering a tailored solution to each client
Assist in the development proposals
The Solution Engineer will communicate relevant business, technical and functional perspectives to all levels of an organization from executives to end-users. This individual will partner with Meridian Account Management and other company resources including Product Line Management and Professional Services to design, propose, validate, estimate and package client solutions and respond to specific client technical questions.
The Solution Engineer position is an exciting, high energy role in which the individual works in the same office as other Trimble employees. This individual will collaborate with those other employees on opportunities to sell broader solutions in the region. Some international travel may be necessary, thus this person must hold a valid passport.

任职资格的具体描述:

A minimum of three to five years of enterprise solution pre-sales or deployment experience with facility planning, design, construction or operations industry experience
A minimum of an engineering degree or related field of study.
Engineering and construction industry experience preferred
The candidate must have an acute understanding of project cost control, contract management, document control, scheduling, resource management and other standard business processes in facility design, construction and operations lifecycle management.
Strong presentation skills along with strong verbal and written communication aptitude and problem solving skills are required.
Experience in business analysis
Experience in implementing IT systems (preferably project management related)
Experience in pre-sales or solution design
