岗位职责
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Team lead for BI report development efforts, coordinate with supporting Data Warehouse, BI Developers/Architects and Business Analyst groups to design and develop new enterprise BI solutions, and to ensure quality and a positive user experience for all delivered solutions
· Technical lead for large, complex BI projects. Develop strategic and tactical implementation plans considering key business objectives and resource constraints
· Develop and own BI content development standards and BI metadata, promoting their adoption and consistent use in all Information Delivery design and development mechanisms
· Lead the preparation of conceptual, logical and physical design documents. Present to management and technical resources to obtain buy-in and approval. Coordinate design and code/application reviews.
· Prepare the logical and physical components for new BI systems deployed within a web/portal context. Ensure methods and procedures are followed that adhere to proper object-oriented software development standards and techniques
· Develop complex BI applications to serve the end-users. Tune the supporting queries and report build processes to improve end-user experience
· Provide guidance to design the Presentation/Analytical Data Warehouse layer and to extend/adapt the Data Model to best practices for front-end utilization
· Work with the Information Management and Delivery team to provide training and support. Assist in the rollout, maintenance, and ongoing administration of these new applications. Perform On-Call support duties
