Position: In-house Legal Counsel (Shang Hai)
Annual Salary: 30,0000--50,0000
Job Summary
Responsible for supporting and advising all areas of the company in complex legal aspects such as trade and commercial matters, Mergers & Acquisition, and labor and corporate issues. Prepares and/or reviews contracts and agreements and other documents to ensure its legal compliance.
Qualifications
•Bachelor or above degrees in law;
•More than eight years’ legal experience in top MNCs, International law firms or top Chinese law firm;
•Excellent drafting, oral and written communication, presentation, negotiation, and inter-personal skills in both English and Chinese.
•Specialized Training in China legal system and regulations;
•Demonstrated problem-solving skills and proactive leadership;
•Experience as a leader of multi-disciplinary project and management teams;
•Independent thinker who can work with minimum supervision and fast learner;
•Outstanding organizational and legal analytical skills;
•Outstanding oral and written communication skills, with proven ability to simplify complex legal concepts in clear and concise communications for ease of business comprehension;
•Qualified to practice in China with PRC lawyer license;
•US law school education is a plus (LLM or JD);
•US lawyer license or equivalent designation in other non-China jurisdiction is a plus.
