  职位描述
Shall be responsible for Supply & Logistics, Quality and Manufacturing. He is expected to facilitate the efficient utilisation of all the manufacturing resources and ensure deliverables to the customers like quality, cost & deliveries. He shall also co-ordinate with Engineering for launching of new products

He shall take initiative to install world class systems and strive for continuous improvement in areas of operation.

MANUFACTURING:
Deliverables to the customer like quality, cost and deliveries.
Cost control.
Productivity Improvement
Employee motivation and systems introduction for a world class organisation.
Proper upkeep of installed machinery to ensure reliability of deliveries.
Ensuring that the systems are in place for developing good team work, safe working environment and conditions conducive for a learning organisation.

SUPPLY AND LOGISTICS:
Material cost reduction
The maintenance of a reliable supply chain both internally and with customers as well as control of logistic cost.
Ensure world class inventory levels by installing proper systems like KANBAN, JIT Systems to ensure materials are procured and handled in a way to eliminate waste.
Ensuring supplier reliability by proper selection and process control at suppliers’ end.


QUALITY
Ensuring quality systems are in place. –with the help of QA Department
To continuously monitor and improve product quality to match Customer expectations.



CROSS FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensuring new businesses are developed with the shortest lead-time – with assistance of Business Develop Department.
Ensures compliance of statutory requirements, safety and environment in co-ordination with Manager - HR
