  职位描述
PURPOSE OF POSITION:

As MRC Analyst you are responsible for analysing, detecting, quarantining and removing malicious software infections. This would include static descriptors like file names, registry keys, VBScript and any other scripting language uses in the executable portions of the database.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Respond to malware (Viruses, Worms, Spyware) incidents specific for China, and investigate and work with MRC center for inclusions in definitions file.
• Setup and maintain IT infrastructure in China, such as honeypots, in order to capture relevant data in from Chinese networks
• Collaborate with other malware analysts from Chinese Network Security firms, and share information where appropriate
• Write descriptions for publication on website (where appropriate)
• Together with PT China MRC team write signatures targeting specific threats
• Product development including analysis, design, programming and documentation
• Determines software requirements (script or static entry) to solve problems
• Adapts existing database as required to maintain threat detection & removal
• Answers queries from support and/or clients on database software problems
• Ensures efficient use of applications (scanners and monitors)
• Cultivate good working relationships within MRC center and with other departments
• Perform structured product testing and QA tasks

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:

Knowledge:
• Detailed knowledge of the host operating system that is being threatened-Windows, Linux.
• Deep understanding of popular Chinese Internet protocols and associated applications
• Windows-understanding of security settings, permissions and relationships between registry keys.
• Understand Spyware Doctor signature options, syntax and how to detect, quarantine and remove malicious software infections.

Skills:
• Fluency in both Chinese and English is preferred
• Signature-writing skills
• Proficient at structured product testing and QA tasks
• Good people skills are preferred
